Tom Wessels, M.A., core faculty at Antioch University New England, is the author of "Reading the Forested Landscape: A Natural History of New England," "The Granite Landscape: A Natural History of America’s Mountain Domes from Acadia to Yosemite" and his recent work "The Myth of Progress: Toward a Sustainable Future." Tom conducts workshops on landscape ecology throughout the country, and serves as chair of the Robert and Patricia Switzer Foundation which fosters environmental leadership through fellowships and grants.
