Simon J. Ortiz, Acoma Pueblo poet, writer, editor, and storyteller, has published over a dozen books of poetry and short fiction and has been editor-author of several anthologies. He has taught Native American literature and creative writing at many universities and colleges. As a major Native American poet and writer, he has made presentations nationally and in Europe and the Caribbean. He lives in Tucson, Arizona where he is working on collections of short fiction, non-fiction (essays, articles, interviews), and poetry.
