Nina Leopold Bradley

Nina Leopold Bradley’s enjoyment and fascination with the natural world has evolved over almost eight decades. She grew up a daughter of legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold, became a plant ecologist, and spent much of her life volunteering her time to conservation organizations in a crusade to encourage ethical thinking and action towards the land. She lives with her husband, Charles, on the Leopold Memorial Reserve with “things natural, wild and free.” Together they established a graduate program for students to do ecological research on the Sand County Farm.
