Katherine Fiveash was a teacher of young children in Cambridge, Massachusetts for 18 years. She is now living in the woods in Gilsum, New Hampshire, and working toward a master's degree in Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England. Her interests include natural history, writing, and environmental philosophy.
