Davis Teselle holds an M.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute and currently teaches drawing at the University of Vermont. He works primarily with printmaking, focusing on lithographs and etching. His primary influences from the Western tradition are the natural history and landscape artists of the 18th and 19th centuries. A second stream of influence is the Chinese and Japanese landscape master artists of black and white landscapes. He has illustrated “The Attentive Heart: Conversations with Trees” by Stephanie Kaza.
