As Student Assistant, you will work with the Alumni Relations Associate to help plan and manage logistic details around AUNE alumni activities including outreach, volunteerism, and events. Your work will be mainly general office work including mailings, printing, copying, phone calls, projects, and internet research. Data entry, social media work, and scanning/archiving are also possible if time allows.
You must be personable with a good phone presence, demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, and feel comfortable communicating with alumni and businesses. You should be detail oriented and organized, and able to work independently, cooperatively and collaboratively, with a positive attitude and good sense of humor. Previous general office work is helpful, and this work will be completed in the office during regular business hours. You should be comfortable with computers, and familiar with Excel and Word. LinkedIn and Facebook experience a plus.
