This position will carry a dual role as both a Research Assistant to Christina Devereaux on faculty research, presentations, and teaching projects and will also assist as an editorial assistant for the American Journal of Dance Therapy, a peer-reviewed journal, in the editorial process. Position involves strong writing skills, solid knowledge of APA publication guidelines, independence, strong computer skills, and interest in collaborating in all phases of the research and presentation process (including literature searches, data recruitment, transcription, and analysis). As an editorial assistant the position will require reading and editing of manuscripts for APA, grammar, and content. Assisting in the 50th anniversary of the ADTA journal special edition.
Applicant must be FWS eligible; Applicants must have strong critical thinking and writing skills, good organizational and time-management skills, an interest in dance/movement therapy research, practice, the publication process, and solid computer and word processing skills.
