Assist Dr. Straus in two research projects. One is a qualitative student of emerging adults and their parents, exploring the transitional relationship from parent-child to a more adult form. The RA would help with all stages of research from design through IRB; ascertaining dyads, and interviewing them. Project two is a survey/possible qualitative study of how cell phones are being used in the therapy room. The student will help conduct a lit review about technology in therapy with a focus on cell phones and develop the research instrument/questions.
Must be a current PsyD student with FWSP or WSGA eligibility. This position involves library scholarship, writing, editing and professional manuscript preparation so applicant must be familiar with current APA format/style.
