National Climate Change Adaptation Conference staff: To work with conference management team to put on a National Conference at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester NH in May 2014. Ability to support climate change experts in developing conference sessions on specific topics ranging from built infrastructure to natural systems vulnerability.
Ability to respond to requests on conference organizers in a timely fashion, demonstrated skills to assist in the administrative details of developing sponsor and exhibitor support including attention to detail regarding space requirements, supporting electrical, timeliness of delivery, set-up and breakdown. Convincing evidence that demonstrates ability to change gears quickly between multiple venues for general space as well as specific presentation space. Clear evidence that they work both as a team member and independently. Have the independence to act as presentation coordinators in regards to specific presentation moderators, including uploading of presentations, time-keeping and collecting evaluations of presentations.
Willingness to work under your peers who have already been imbedded in the conference planning and implementation since its inception.
An interview will be required by both the conference coordinator (Christa Daniels) and the conference Director (Michael Simpson) in order to determine suitability for this position.
