A survey was developed to determine the status of stewardship and monitoring within New Hampshire’s’ land trust community. The results of the survey are summarized in this thesis by individual organization and also on a question by question basis. The information is then compared and contrasted to a model stewardship program created for ascertaining the effectiveness of the stewardship and monitoring practices within New Hampshire’s’ land trust community.
