The Ashuelot River Watershed Study Scoping Report is the first phase of the three-year Ashuelot River Watershed management Study (ARW Study). The Southwest Region Planning Commission has identified the need to develop a watershed scale community planning model which integrates natural resource conservation goals with conventional community development criteria. The Scoping Report presents overviews of 1) the scope of problem addressed by the ARW Study; 2) description of the Study area; #)the ARW Study approach; 4) availability of informational, technical and professional resources for the ARW Study; and 5) a proposed work program for ARW Study.
