Who?

If you work at ANE and have a computer, desk or office, then the Green Guru service is for YOU. The Green Guru is focusing on office and work space efficiency. See the Energy-Saving Tips page, for starters!

What?

We’ve recruited and trained Aric Brown to serve as ANE’s first-ever Green Guru. The Office Energy-Efficiency Audit service that Aric provides is designed to help all of us reduce and limit the carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gas emissions from our individual work spaces. Beginning in the Fall, Aric will be ready to visit your desk to get you started.

Why?

Because you will win prizes and recognition! And because Antioch New England has made a commitment to being carbon neutral by 2020, we’re not wasting any time getting started on meeting that goal. Although we can’t see it directly, resources are consumed to light up our work space and to run our computers and other electronic devices. Producing electricity creates CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions that directly contribute to global warming. One of the easiest ways we can move toward reducing our CO2 output is by making small, easy (we promise) changes in our office areas.
