Fall internships are by application only, with written permission from the Internship Coordinator.

Students register for a total of two 3-credit Internships during their course of study; generally one 3-credit in the summer, and a second 3-credit in their final semester. Internships are REQUIRED for all Advocacy for Social Justice & Sustainability, Conservation Biology, Environmental Education, Self-Design Studies, and Sustainable Development and Climate Change concentrations.

The Internship provides students with an opportunity to apply, in an organizational setting, what they are learning and to develop professional contacts within their fields of interest. While students are responsible for locating internships, faculty members are available to provide support and information as needed.
