Competency Area: Assessment

This year-long sequence provides an introduction to the psychological assessment of individuals with a major focus on the role of psychological tests in personality assessment, but with attention also paid to psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment. Students develop beginning competence in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of a standard battery of psychodiagnostic techniques (WAIS-III/WISC-IV/WPPSI-III, Bender Gestalt test, MMPI-2). There will be a lab fee.
