Competency Area: Individual Assessment & Intervention Strategies
Required of and restricted to ASD Certificate students.
Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the first semester ASD certificate coursework or with permission of the Program Director.

This course offers a forum for exploration and discussion of the learning issues and concerns specific to older students diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and High Functioning Autism. The class is designed to provide development of theoretical knowledge/understanding and applied learning to support implementation of best practices methodologies. Pre-readings are assigned.
