Competency Area: Elective

This course focuses on the development of professional writing skills, for those needing review and remediation. It begins with a discussion of successful writing habits, continues with an overview of basic writing skills and ends with more advanced skills, such as writing logical, well-organized papers. The course also covers APA writing standards for professional reports and papers. Students will immediately apply new skills using hands-on exercises.
