Description:

Competency Area: Systems & Strategic Thinking Restricted to second year O&M MS students through December 9; open to all Masters students on December 17. Social Networks, blogs, twitter, and websites have all become major players in the world of marketing. In this class, students will analyze the various mediums of web-based marketing. Students will explore software for designing websites and begin constructing their own web pages. Students will learn strategies for analyzing websites through word optimization and web page design. Students should check the course site on Sakai for on-line assignments that may begin prior to the first class meeting and throughout the semester for ongoing projects and discussions.
