Competency Area: Integrated Projects
Required of and restricted to Ph.D. III students.

The Service Project is an intensive practicum project that involves a form of environmental or social service in a community context. The project may occur at any time during the third year of the program. Students should register for Service Project during the semester in which the bulk of the work will be done. For more specific information about the service project, please see the Doctoral Program Guide. Note: The Service Project does not meet as a course. The project is discussed in the Theory and Practice Seminar. The student receives credit upon satisfactory completion of the Service Project essay.
