Restricted to ALL ES students who are doing a Masters Thesis.

This course is designed to prepare students for their Master’s thesis requirement. Through reading, Students will learn how to select and develop a research topic, improve their library research skills including their ability to successfully review relevant research and theory, understand the strengths of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research, develop reasonable and testable hypotheses where appropriate, design appropriate methods for conducting research, and establish the necessary professional and academic relationships to support their work. Students will develop research topics through concentrated study and analysis of data provided from their field of study.
