Required of and restricted to students in the School Leadership & Administration 2010 Cluster (Summer Sequence), and Experienced Educator M.Ed. Principal Certification students (Springfield 2010 Cluster) students.
This course will focus on both the ethical and legal dimensions of leadership with an emphasis on resolving conflicts in the school community. Students will examine actual legal cases and ethical dilemmas for the purpose of understanding the role of the leader in creating and maintaining an educational environment that protects and nurtures equity, fairness, tolerance, and respect for the individual. In addition to your time in class, there will be a required on-line component for this course.
