Elementary Teacher Certification Program
All Arts and Humanities concentration and Science and Environmental Education concentration students who entered in Fall 2011 are required to register for the following courses:
- EDC 528 Ecology of Imagination (Section A) (required of Science and Environmental Education concentration students only)
- EDC 572 Elementary School Science I (Section A)
(required of & restricted to Integrated Learning students planning an at-a-distance Internship Fall 2012) *
- EDP 590 Teaching Exceptional Children (Section A) (unless previously completed Spring 2012))
and two credits from the following Social Studies courses*:
- EDC 618 From Sheep to Shawl (Section A)
- EDC 529 Place-Based Social Studies (Section A)
- EDC 506 Picture Books and Social Studies (Section A)
