Waldorf Course Selection Instructions Summer 2011

Group 1: Entering Year-round Waldorf Students

Please note:

  • Thursday nights from 7:30 – 9:30 pm are reserved for Community Meeting and singing, etc.
  • New student orientation will take place on Sunday, July 10 from 1:45 -3:30 pm.
  • Waldorf Graduation and Completion Ceremony, July 30 at 10:30 am.

All Waldorf Summer 2011 Entering Year-round Students (certificate and M.Ed., with and without NH state certification) are required to register for the following courses:

Non-credited required courses:

Advising
Students must also attend the Advising Sessions on Friday afternoons, July 15 and 22 from 4:00 – 5:55 pm.

Waldorf students may register for a maximum of 9 credits in the summer semester. Students must have written permission of Program Director to exceed 9 credits, provided to the Registrar’s Office via Antioch email.

Group 2: Finishing Year-round Waldorf Students

All finishing Year-round Waldorf students (Certificate and M.Ed.) who entered in Summer 2010 are required to register for the following courses:

Waldorf students may register for a maximum of 9 credits (12 credits with Master’s Project) in summer semester. Students must have written permission of Program Director to exceed 12 credits, provided to the Registrar’s Office via Antioch email.

Optional institutes:
Two institutes (EDNC 014 -The Art of Puppetry and EDP 624 Personal & Organizational Renewal: From Survival to Success will be offered during the week of July 3-8. Finishing Year-Round students may choose one of these two institutes, in addition to their regular courses listed above. Please see the course description for additional information.

Waldorf students may register for a maximum of 9 credits (11 credits if a 3-credit summer institute is chosen). Students must have written permission of Program Director to exceed 11 credits, provided to the Registrar’s Office via Antioch email.

Optional institutes:
Summer Sequence Regular students who entered in Summer 2010 may choose to take one of two optional Renewal institutes in addition to their required courses listed above.
