Course Schedule
Note: Waldorf students may register for a maximum of 15 credits during the spring semester. Students must request written permission of Program Director or designee to exceed 15 credits. This authorization is to be provided to the Registrar’s Office via FirstClass.
Maine Waldorf Program
All Maine Waldorf Program M.Ed. Students who entered in Fall 2006 are required to register for the following courses:
- EDT 601 Studies in Anthroposophy (Section M) January 11-12
- ED 699 Master’s Project (Section M)
and both of the following non-credit courses:
- Spacial Dynamics January 13
- Curriculum Seminar January 12-13
All Maine Waldorf Program Certificate Students who entered in Fall 2006 are required to register for the following courses:
- EDT 601 Studies in Anthroposophy (Section M) January 11-12
and one of the following:
- ED 691 Internship, Elementary Education (Section M)
- ED 693 Practicum (Section M)
and both of the following non-credit courses:
- Spacial Dynamics January 13
- Curriculum Seminar January 12-13

All Waldorf Certificate Students (year-round) who entered in Summer 2007 are required to register for:
- ANE 690 Early Childhood SIS - 1 credit (Early Childhood students only)
- EDP 630 Waldorf School Administration (Section A)
- ED 697 Professional Practice Seminar (Sections A-D)
(Required with any internship. Assignments are made by the department; students will add during the add/drop period, not during the initial on-line registration). - Electives (2 credits needed)
and one of the following:
- EDC 559A Waldorf Curriculum Preparation II – Grades 5-8 (Section A)
- EDC 665 Movement & Storytelling Pre-K Classroom (Section A)
and one of the following:
- ED 691 Internship, Elementary Education (Section A)
- ED 692 Internship, Early Childhood Education (Section A)
and the following non-credit courses

All Waldorf M.Ed. (year-round) without state certification students who entered in Summer 2007 are required to register for:
- ANE 690 Early Childhood SIS - 1 credit (Early Childhood students only)
- EDP 630 Waldorf School Administration (Section A)
- ANE 690 1 credit Research SIS - Waldorf Educational Research (EDP competency area)
- EDP 598 School Law (or other approved Social Policy elective) (Sections A or B)
- EDP 590 Children with Special Needs (Section A) (or other approved Social Policy elective)
- ED 697 Professional Practice Seminar (Sections A-D)

- EDT 532 Conceptual Development (Section A)
- EDP 598 School Law (Sign up for a section that does not conflict with Waldorf courses) (Sections A or B)
- EDP 590 Children with Special Needs (Section A)
- ED 697 Professional Practice Seminar (Sections A-D)
