Environmental Studies Course Selection Spring 2012Spring 2012 Program Schedules
IMPORTANT: It is important that you register according to the instructions listed for your program, concentration and year of entry. Priority registration, which will take place from December 5 - 11, is given according to these criteria. After December 11, most course registration restrictions will be lifted. Note: If you are unable to gain entry into a course during December 5 - 11, please check for restrictions and try and register again after the 11th. If you are going to make alterations to the suggested sequence of courses for your entry date and program, you should meet with your academic advisor to discuss these changes and how they may affect your ability to fulfill degree requirements in the future. Careful course planning is necessary to avoid registering and paying for additional semesters, and incurring additional fees. Course offerings are subject to change from year to year depending on availability of faculty. Competency AreasCompetency areas are listed in each course description based on the year of entry and program or concentration area. Please read carefully to make sure the course will fulfill the desired degree requirement. Students Who Entered Spring 2010 and earlierStudents who have registered for, but not completed ES 699C Master’s Thesis or ES 699A Master’s Project MUST register for ES 699D Master’s Thesis Continuation or ES 699B Masters Project Continuation respectively, each semester until the final Thesis or Project has been submitted and approved. Students Who Entered Fall 2010 and Spring 2011Please Note: The academic credit load for the Spring semester for all ES masters programs is 6 - 9 credits. The maximum credit load is determined by the track you have selected. Please register from the courses, and when indicated, preferred sections (*) listed for your concentration. *Spring 11 enterers may need additional course work. Please see your advisor.
