Tomey Center Staff
Tomey Center projects are carried out by highly qualified faculty and alumni professionals with substantial experience in working with organizations in all the service areas offered by the Center. The staff assigned to each project is selected for his/her qualifications for the project's goals and are subject to approval by the organization to be served. Staff take time to get to know their clients and genuinely listen to the clients about their needs, questions, and concerns.
“The best aspect of the Tomey Center is the knowledgeable and thorough staff… The Tomey Center conducted a multi-faceted and comprehensive evaluation that we could not have conducted without their help and knowledge.” —Elizabeth Adams, Student Conservation Association
Students as Colleagues and Practitioners
The Tomey Center is a vital educational link for Antioch University New England graduate students who want supervised experience applying theory to practice through Center projects and internships. Students and Faculty work together on community projects in program evaluation, strategic planning, facilitation of meetings, and training development workshops.
“The Tomey Center provides exposure to research and consultation in the “real world”. As a graduate student, this type of hands-on experience is invaluable to my education and development. I am also grateful that the Tomey Center offers opportunities to students from different educational backgrounds and departments at Antioch. This provides a wonderful sense of inclusivity and partnership across disciplines.” —Sarah Gates, Clinical Psychology, '08
