MEd Student Professions - Organization & Management - Antioch University New England
MEd Student Professions
Our students come from a variety of professional backgrounds and workplaces, including for profit, not for profit, education, healthcare and small business. Our curriculum is designed so that students are able to immediately apply what they learn to their various work settings. MEd and MS students are in classes together and contribute to the classroom experience by providing examples from their work environments for case studies. This also allows students an opportunity to learn from one another.
Examples of current MEd student professions include:
- Assistant dean of students at a small coeducational boarding school
- Teaching principal in small town school
- Administrator of student affairs in higher education
- Associate director of a non-profit school teaching design and building skills to adults
- Admissions professional at an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational college preparatory boarding school
- Assistant to the president at a graduate school
- Student affairs consultant at an Ivy League university
