Green MBA - The Accelerated Program

The accelerated model is for students who are interested in completing their MBA in an intensive, fast track program. These students live in the region or relocate to the area for the 12-month program. Classes meet on weekdays and five Saturdays each Fall and Spring semester.

Diversity of Student Population

Ages 21 to 65
Recent college graduates from business, environmental studies, liberal arts, health, education, and nonprofit management
Students in job and life transitions who are retooling for new careers
Students come from across the United States and the world
Students come from positions in corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, and NGOs. Some students are entrepreneurs interested in starting their own businesses, and others become intrapreneurs for sustainability in future workplaces.
Some students have part-time positions through the Work Study program at Antioch University New England.
Some students have spouses, partners, and children who relocate to the region.
Students rent apartments and homes for the 16 months of the academic program. Antioch University New England keeps a list of current available housing.

Overview Class Schedule

Program begins in September and takes 12 months to complete.
Weekday classes held three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday 2-9pm), and five Saturdays a semester (8:30am - 5:30pm)
Summer classes May, June, and July. No classes August.

Experiential Learning

Students develop expertise through a concentrated summer semester practicum.
Students participate in consulting projects.
During class weekends, students participate in a Friday night Socratic seminar to discuss workplace experiences and sustainability topics.
Students participate in three Sustainability Field Seminars.
