Rethinking the way we conduct business is crucial to turning the economy around. Business as usual is not sustainable. A sustainable economic recovery will require leaders ready to meet the challenges of a global economy, where sustainability and social justice are as important as profit and growth. Antioch New England's Green MBA is the ideal way to prepare yourself.
You learn what you would expect in an MBA program, plus the unexpected—a curriculum that considers not only sustainable business practices, but also the natural environment, leadership, systems thinking, and collaboration.
Finish your MBA in 16 or 24 months.
Choose from weekend or accelerated options. The weekend option (24-month completion) works best for those who need to pursue their degree while working full-time. Classes meet five intensive weekends per semester, from Friday through Sunday, and for an intensive week each summer. The accelerated option (16-months) works best for those who want to complete their degree faster and are available to take classes on weekdays and weekends.
Students Make an Impact
Our MBA students have launched a chapter of Net Impact, an international
organization whose ten thousand members actively improve the world as leaders in corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability. In 2008, Antioch New England's MBA in Organizational and Environmental Sustainability ranked in the top five in multiple categories
Make Your Business Sustainable.
In the past, business leaders primarily focused on the bottom line. Today,
leaders are invested in the triple bottom line where the focus is on people, planet, and profit. Businesses around the globe are realizing that advocating for the triple bottom line is not only the right thing to do; it is essential for sustainability of communities, organizations, and the environment.
Position Yourself for the New Green Economy
The US government has dedicated resources and programs to developing a green economy that is based on renewable energy and sustainable business practices. MBA students will be prepared to lead these initiatives.
