Institute for Nonprofit Management:

Nine Days Toward Better Nonprofit Management

OM students in class The Institute for Nonprofit Management, developed by the Department of Organization & Management, is a comprehensive curriculum of seminars for nonprofit executives. The program provides information in areas such as human resources, fundraising, board development, marketing, business planning, and team building. It is offered annually at varied locations around the state of New Hampshire.

Objectives of the Institute for Nonprofit Management

  • To enable managers to think strategically and make informed decisions by building knowledge in a broad range of management disciplines.
  • To convene a synergistic group of managers who will form a professional network, using each other as resources both during and after the Institute Series.
  • To provide nonprofit managers with a continuing education opportunity that will serve as a substantial step in their professional development.
“The institute provided a superb opportunity for non—profit leaders to learn together, from each other, as well as from the instructors. The syllabus was comprehensive, the material was rich, and the dialogue was stimulating. Even after working in the non—profit field for twenty years, I learned something useful at every session.” — Kevin Peterson, Executive Director, Upper Valley Community Foundation
