The talk will take place from 11:30 a.m. to noon in the Community Room at AUNE. It is free and open to the public. Rich will explore how Native American perspectives, myths about those perspectives and the notions of Western science and environmentalism relate in academia. Based on interviews with faculty, the talk suggests how conversations between indigenous and Western perspectives could take place in environmental studies programs. Rich is a doctoral candidate in environmental studies at AUNE and a lifelong hiker and backpacker. About Antioch University New England (AUNE) About Antioch University | ||||
