Library policies are subject to change. Contact the Library by email or by phone at 603.283.2400 with any questions regarding library polices. Authorized PatronsAuthorized patrons of AUNE Library are current staff and faculty, and matriculated students (students enrolled at Antioch University New England in a degree or certificate program, for credit). Students, staff, and faculty in the Antioch University Leadership & Change PhD program are also authorized patrons of AUNE Library. Alumni have limited borrowing privileges. Audiovisual EquipmentAuthorized patrons may sign out audiovisual equipment. Requests for the use of AV equipment may be made in person, by phone, or with the online request form. Alumni and special patrons may not sign out audiovisual equipment. Audiovisual and Other Equipment SupportPlease be advised that the Library is equipped to provide basic operating, instructional, and trouble-shooting support for audiovisual equipment that it maintains in its collection and actively circulates. The AUNE Library is unable to provide such support for personal or department-specific equipment or equipment that is mounted, wired, or otherwise dedicated to rooms outside of the library. If need for such support arises the IT department, via helpdesk requests, is tasked with providing assistance. CirculationThe library's circulation policies give details about borrowing procedures and check-out periods for library materials. Collection DevelopmentThe library makes purchasing decisions for new materials based on guidelines spelled out in our collection development policy. Suggest an addition to our collection. CopyrightAUNE Library services, including Interlibrary Loan and Course Reserves, comply with current copyright law. It is up to each individual user of library materials to be familiar with copyright regulations and “fair use” standards. Course ReservesRequests for print reserves must be submitted electronically through FirstClass to Catherine Boswell. Items may only be placed on reserve by faculty members. The library does not handle electronic course readings. DisplaysAUNE Library will, as time and space permit, set up displays in accordance with guidelines set forth in the display policy. DonationsDonations of books and other library items are accepted at the discretion of the Library Director and the Library reserves the right to determine the use of donated items. The Library cannot provide verification of financial value of any donated items for tax purposes. The Library may be able to accept donations of back issues of serials with a run of three years or more, depending on space limitations and collection focus. We always appreciate donations of issues which fill gaps in our existing journals collection. We are unable to accept donations of current serials as publishers restrict the use of active personal subscriptions by institutions. Interlibrary LoanAUNE Library provides Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery services to authorized patrons. Requests must be submitted electronically using the online Interlibrary Loan form. Up to 10 requests per person per week will be processed, and items are obtained free of charge to the patron whenever possible. Media RoomThe Library has a room available for use with audiovisual equipment. Reservations for the Media Room are limited to those using instructional technology, and may be made by contacting the library's circulation desk in person, by phone, or by email. Others are welcome to use the room when it is not scheduled for media use. AV StudioEquipment is available in the AV Studio for production and/or editing of video content. Use of the AV Studio is restricted to current faculty and staff and matriculated students of AUNE. For information and reservations, contact the library's circulation desk in person, by phone at 603.283.2400, or by email. Library staff are not able to give instruction in the use of AV studio equipment but will provide access to training materials for those reserving the room. | ||||
