Borrowing Privileges

Alumni of Antioch University New England may apply for an alumni card in order to check out material from the library, including books, videos, CDs, and DVDs. There is a limit of 3 items. Alumni may not check out audiovisual equipment. Contact the Circulation Desk (603-283-2400) for information on obtaining an alumni card.

Database Access

Our contracts with database vendors allow us to provide access only to currently registered students. Graduates of AUNE wishing to use research databases are urged to consider the following options:

Local libraries— Public libraries usually offer their patrons access to various online databases. State university and college libraries often make their resources available to local residents. Some private university and college libraries provide on-site database access to guest users.

Professional organizations often provide their members with access to research databases. APA, for example, offers various pricing options for access to PsycINFO and their other online research products, as well as 24-hour periods of access for very reasonable rates.

Free access databases— There are many freely available online databases. ERIC, a comprehensive index to education materials, and PubMed, an index provided by the National Library of Medicine, are just two examples.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan service is available only to current students of Antioch University New England. The library does not provide interlibrary loan services to graduates of AUNE. Alumni and other guest library users are encouraged to utilize the interlibrary loan services of their local public library.
