Stepping Up To Leadership® is designed for new and emerging frontline leaders, team leaders, and entry-level managers, as well as current supervisors who need to sharpen their skills. It’s also for those who are considering a leadership role, but aren’t sure it’s the right career choice.
In this five-session workshop, you’ll explore new ways of thinking, and consider your personal transition from an individual contributor in your company to a leadership role. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of leadership, learn what it takes to be an effective manager, and acquire essential supervisory skills.
With your sponsoring manager and workplace team, you’ll examine how you fit into your organization — both personally, and as a leader — focusing on engagement, collaboration, and organization effectiveness.
Each session deals with a new topic, including supervisory challenges, effective communication, problem solving, decision making, time management, and conflict management.
This non-credit certificate program meets for five half-day sessions delivered every two weeks over a ten-week period.

Leadership On The Line® is a comprehensive, integrated leadership development process designed for experienced frontline managers and team leaders — the people who execute the organization’s day-to-day work.
In this intensive ten-session workshop, you’ll develop a Chief Operating Officer mindset — becoming thoroughly acquainted with the essential roles you play, within your company, to optimize your team’s human resources and organization development, and — to maximize its value and contributions to your greater organization’s success.
You’ll analyze how your team fits into your company. You’ll learn to define and improve the processes through which the team creates values, to measure and produce successful financial outcomes, and to motivate your employees and establish effective human resource practices.
Sessions are facilitated by a leadership coach, with presentations by guest business experts. At the end of the program, you’ll present a detailed business plan to your sponsoring manager and other key company leaders.
This non-credit certificate program meets for ten half-day sessions delivered every two weeks over a twenty-week period.
