Wetland Scientist

Job Responsibilities

Coneco Engineers & Scientists, Incorporated, a full-service environmental, civil engineering and land surveying firm, is seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals with a strong interest in the natural sciences to help grow our ecological services division.

 

Qualifications

Candidates shall have 2 to 10 years of work experience in the field of ecology, with an emphasis on data analysis, licensing and permitting, restoration design, environmental regulatory compliance, and client/project management. Experience in wetland delineation/habitat evaluation, impact assessment, and regulatory compliance is also required. Wetland or soil scientist certification (or the ability to become certified within a year) is critical and electric/gas utility project experience as well as proven business development success are a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere are a must.

 

Compensation

Open full-time salaried positions include junior and senior Wetland Scientists with salary commensurate with experience.
