Utilization Analyst

Job Description

TITLE: UTILIZATION ANALYST

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce weekly and monthly utilization and billing reports.
• Manage reporting for wait list clients.
• Ensure consistency and integrity of utilization data.
• Participate in Utilization Review and Budgeting as needed, including but not limited to updating spreadsheets and acting as liaison with Directors and Division personnel.
• Analyze utilization review process and make appropriate recommendations.
• Analyze scheduling patterns and recommend optimal scheduling configuration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree in accounting or equivalent experience required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on confidentiality managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing.
• Computer literacy in word-processing, spreadsheet, and reporting applications.
• Proven ability to analyze utilization data and procedures and to effect positive change.
• Ability to develop and interpret policies and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess valid and current driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Expectation that staff will use the technology provided to perform their job.
