Semester School Director

We seek an experienced educational administrator to lead and grow our two unique experiential semester expedition programs for young people ages 15-19 years old. Click here to learn more about the semester programs.

Responsibilities:
Marketing
Admissions
All written and verbal communications
Program coordination
Program Development, including long-term development of alternative high school program here at Kroka
Staff development
Teach two academic/skills subjects

Qualifications:
Significant experience in educational administration
Passion and skills for marketing
Personal and professional wilderness travel experience
Teaching experience and enthusiasm for working with students of high school and college age and their families.
Excellent writing and communications skills
Strong technology and office systems skills
Masters degree in education/administration/business is preferred
Spanish language a plus

Schedule
Full-Time, Year-Round
Occasional requirements to teach and travel with programs in the field,
and coordinate and attend weekend events or attend conferences (approximately 12 weekends per year)
