Seasonal Teaching Staff

Seasonal staff will enjoy working with our spring school groups, our summer camp program, and our fall season. Arrive in the spring to open our base camp facility, and stay through the beautiful fall to see the season to a close.

April – October 2014 (with the potential for extended year-round work)

Seasonal staff will teach and support wilderness education programs for ages 8-18 at Kroka’s base camp and on expeditions throughout New England.

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay based on qualifications and tenure at Kroka: $275- $575 per week
Room and board: primitive Kroka Village housing in canvas wall tent, and meals whenever you are on campus or traveling for Kroka.
Ongoing work related training opportunities from master teachers and administrators.
Two paid days-off after the end of each program.
Two paid weeks vacation; one week after completing the spring season, one week after completing the summer season.
