Windsor Mountain International Summer Camp welcomes campers and staff members from around the world to its beautiful lakeside setting in the quiet and pristine woods of southwest New Hampshire where children gather every summer to live and play together in a unique and magical place where friendship, happiness and community thrive. Windsor Mountain provides campers and staff members a unique opportunity to nurture the creative spirit, develop a sense of self-understanding and independence, foster lifelong friendships, try new things, cultivate skills and learn how to live in a community of people representing diverse cultures and life experience. We are a co-ed, non-competitive camp that uses the power of experiential learning to enhance the personal growth and development of each camper. We embrace the values of respecting differences among people, living responsibly and taking safe and appropriate risks.
Responsibilities: Supervise high and low ropes course including a zip line and climbing wall; supervise, support, train, and schedule course staff (appx 6); plan and implement programming for a non-competitive and challenge-by-choice standard of focus; facilitate elements; inspect elements and equipment; care for equipment, perform rescues if necessary, and maintain high standards of safety.
Qualifications: Training and experience on adventure/challenge/ropes course program (documented); at least 6-weeks of supervisory or assistant supervisory experience on a ropes course. Ability to coordinate an adventure/ropes course program. Ability to keep equipment organized. Ability to maintain course in excellent working condition. Ability to supervise rope course instructors and make scheduling assignments. Desire and ability to work with children outdoors. Ability to work well with others. Good character, integrity, organization, adaptability, enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.
Benefits: $2,300-$3,600 (based upon experience.) Meals and housing while at camp. Reimbursement for some traveling expenses needed to get to camp. Positively impact the lives of young people. Training 6/5-6/24. Availability from June 6-August 18th –with ability to work until September 24th.
