Eliot has expanded residential programs that contract with the Department of Youth Services ( DYS) to serve court involved adolescents in multiple locations in Central and Eastern MA and are seeking experienced and talented individuals for clinical and management positions. Master’s degree or higher in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field required.
Must be licensed as a LICSW or LMHC.
At least three years experience with adolescents and knowledge of relevant clinical issues.
Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships in a residential setting.
DBT certified or willing to participate in certification program.
Master's degree (license eligible) in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Experience working with the adolescent population
Working knowledge of DBT or willingness to participate in certification program.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Desired Skills & Experience
Coordinate and provide individual, group and family therapy as needed
Coordinate treatment team meetings to discuss Individual Service Plans, progress reviews, re-entry plans and discharge plans
Oversee the medication, medical needs and mental health of residents
Oversee advocacy and phase components of the program
Oversee monitor, facilitate and provide feedback on effectiveness of daily groups
Coordinate, monitor and facilitate special groups
Residential Clinician Responsibilities:
Provide individual and family therapy weekly
Participate in the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans
Provide case management and advocacy for youth as needed
Facilitate curriculum based treatment groups in DBT, Substance abuse, Offender specific and Risk Reduction
