Program Director of Adult Outpatient, Substance Abuse and Crisis Services
Health Care and Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont (HCRS) a $40+million community mental health agency is currently conducting a search for a Program Director of Adult Outpatient, Substance Abuse and Crisis Services. Located in our corporate office in Springfield, Vermont, this position serves on the Senior Leadership Team of HCRS and reports directly to the CEO. This position provides programmatic and clinical oversight to a staff of 50, including 8 managerial staff within an operating budget of $4 million.
HCRS is known as an agency of choice for clients and families as well as for providing high quality services to individuals struggling with mental health, substance use and poverty issues. HCRS desires an individual who will foster a team culture that is positive, accountable, and responsive to the needs of the people in the community. In addition, this person must value the importance of ensuring their staff adheres to all government regulations and agency policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of related experience, 5 of which will have been in a managerial position demonstrating strong leadership and staff development skills. Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or related field is required.
