TNTP seeks a full-time Partner for the New Teacher Effectiveness group. This position will be based in Brooklyn, NY and is available immediately. Frequent travel (up to 40%) is required.

The New Teacher Effectiveness Group is a leading provider of talented new teachers. TNTP's rigorous training program â€“ beginning with intensive pre-service training and culminating in state certification â€“ prepares people without formal education backgrounds to be effective in challenging school environments. At every step, TNTP ensures that only teachers who prove their ability to raise student achievement enter and remain in the classroom.

As a Partner, you will be responsible for leading NYC Teaching Fellows and other TNTP teams to find and train the most effective new teachers in the country. This leadership position will push you to transform TNTP's vision into action, manage large teams to meet ambitious goals and nurture relationships with leaders in districts and states across the country, including the New York City Department of Education. We expect the Partner to:
- Be an innovative strategist. You're a strategy setter who can generate solutions to thorny challenges, but you also know when to call it. If something's not working you are the first to advocate for a new approach.
- Develop talent. One of your greatest responsibilities and privileges will be to manage and develop TNTP's amazing people. You understand how to build a strong team, maximize each individual's strengths, and are skilled at leading teams through change.
- Inspire others to act. You have a knack for engaging and motivating clients and business partners at all levels.
- Have a distinguished track record. You've been setting and achieving ambitious goals throughout your career.
What We Offer
TNTP offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position with the potential for an annual performance based bonus. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan effective on the first day of employment. We pay 100% of employee-only medical coverage and subsidize the majority of costs for a spouse/domestic partner and children.
