New Hampshire Audubon
New Hampshire Audubon, a nonprofit statewide membership
organization, is dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and
habitat throughout the
state. Independent of the National Audubon Society, NHA has offered programs in
wildlife conservation, land protection, environmental policy, and environmental
education since 1914.
The mission of New Hampshire Audubon is to protect New Hampshire’s natural
environment for wildlife and for people.
Audubon Center, Hebron, NH
Full time, non-exempt, 40 hours/wk
during peak season of mid-June through early September; 15-20 hours per month during pre-season months of March, April
This position will support the mission of New Hampshire
to protect New Hampshire’s
natural environment for wildlife and for people,
by directing and overseeing the various functions
of the Newfound Center including educational programming, marketing, media relations,
community outreach, operations budgeting, exhibit and animal care, building maintenance,
sanctuary management, staff hiring and supervision, volunteer management, visitor services,
and special events. Responsibilities also include supervision of center staff.
This position serves as
the liaison with the Newfound Audubon
Lodging may be provided depending upon
need and availability.
Directing and implementing the Center
environmental educational programs
including planning, budgeting, scheduling and evaluating.
Developing and executing the Center marketing and communications plans to
promote the Center and its special events and programs within the community.
Creating and coordinating marketing pieces including print materials and brochures.
Developing and managing Center budget and creating fiscal projections and reports.
Implementing the Center’s fund raising plan in conjunction with the New Hampshire
Audubon’s overall fund raising plan.
Implementing the Center’s strategic plan in conjunction with the New Hampshire
Audubon’s overall strategic plan.
