Mental Health Expert for Online Teen Forum, a Bay Area non-profit run by the Inspire USA Foundation, provides online support for young people going through tough times. Since launching in March 2010, has reached 2.5 million US visitors, and has had 12 million page views.

We are looking for mental health professionals to fulfil between 2-8 hours work a month, as our online expert on our youth forums in a feature called “Ask the Expert“. This involves answering questions posted by young people going through tough times. Each month we have a specific topic, eg. October is bullying prevention month, September is Suicide Prevention Month etc.

We are actively look for counselors or mental health professionals to answer the questions each month. This can be done remotely and there will be an hourly stipend of $100/hour. The number of hours varies between 2-8 each month, depending on the topic popularity.

This is an opportunity for you to fulfill your passion by providing insightful and supportive answers for young people in tough times and to gain experience providing online support in a unique environment.

Please note, this is NOT an on-going position, but a one-month remote position in a rotating panel of experts. Must be based in the United States.
