W.S. Badger is looking for a hardworking, friendly, highly effective communicator to become a key member of our marketing team. We’re seeking a highly-organized and detail-oriented candidate who can communicate all parts of our fabulous Badger brand to the press and our customers through social media, print, and on our website.
Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years of marketing experience, is a naturally creative, outgoing person, who has excellent writing skills to help us tell our story. Proficiency in all MS Office applications, basic HTML knowledge, and experience with maintaining data bases is required. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs is helpful, too.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining outstanding connections and relationships with the media and the community to ensure the best P.R. coverage, responding to inquiries from the media, and maintaining Badger’s social media presence with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. Additional duties include revising and updating the Badger website, writing and editing copy for marketing materials and product packaging, and coordinating booth design, shipping and logistics for tradeshows. The Marketing Coordinator also attends tradeshows as needed.
This is a non-exempt, 40 hour/week position with full Badger benefits (including a free, daily organic lunch) at our new facility in Gilsum, New Hampshire.
