The Relational Center (TRC) is seeking part-time Lead Clinical Supervisor (to be groomed for the position of Assistant Clinical Director), 20 hours per week (ideally spread throughout the week). TRC's Mental Health Project aims to serve those most disenfranchised and marginalized by dominant cultural narratives. Our counseling model approaches individuals' distress as signals about difficulties in our culture and institutions. We support counselors to work with service users (we call them "members") to develop strength-based narratives, recover their capacities for resiliency and resourcefulness, and explore ways re-connect, change and influence their communities and environments. The Lead Clinical Supervisor will run multiple supervision groups in accordance with TRC's model and philosophy and government regulations. The position will also support the Project Director in managing intake systems, member assignment, and all activities related to training and supervision.
Experience in community mental health, mutual aid models, non-violent communication and/or social work. Must have strong communication skills, management experience, leadership skills, clinical supervision experience, and a strong background in group facilitation.
LCSW with two years post-licensure experience
Minorities strongly encouraged to apply.
