Harvest Crew

2014 marks our 16th year of diversified organic (not certified) vegetable, fruit and flower production. In 2013 we fed 350 families through our summer CSA, 140 families through our fall CSA, and 50 families through our spring CSA, as well as onsite farm-stand, farm store, and restaurant sales. Looking for hardworking, enthusiastic, self-motivated team players, serious about farming, with a positive attitude, stamina to work 10- hour days, move 50# bags, follow directions and pay attention to details, while having a good time for our Field Crew and Harvest positions. We value those looking to stay with us into the future to build a greater understanding of what we do here, and thus become an asset to our farm.

Tracie’s Community Farm is located in the Monadnock region of NH, on 33 acres most of which is prime agriculture soil, classified as Becket fine sandy loam. We are 20 minutes from Keene, 40 minutes from Brattleboro VT and Northfield MA. We are 5 minutes from a beautiful lake where we go for swimming on hot days, 10 minutes from Mt. Monadnock and many other great hikes in the area. We have a great community, with 3 seasonal potlucks with live music and bonfires, many great contra dances in the area and other fun gatherings like pizza night at Orchard Hill where we get our freshly baked bread.

Harvest Crew: (2 positions open for 2014) This is a three day a week position early to mid July-September on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. helping with the harvest starting in early to mid July and continuing through September. There may be other days after that we need extra help if you can come in and also flexibility of not coming in on days when the harvest isn’t as heavy. Some of the hours you’d work in exchange for your share depending on what size you want and the other hours you get paid for. First season Harvest crew members receive $8 per hour and you’ll be provided lunch while working here as well as merit based raises.

If you’re interested in working with us in 2014, check out how to apply on our website. We’re scheduling working interviews from July-November of 2013 and will make our final decisions by late December of 2013 for the 2014 season.
