Family Clinician

COMPASS, a private non-profit, social service agency, is looking for staff to provide in-home, short-term, comprehensive support and stabilization services to families referred by DCF, often when a child is at risk of being removed. Utilizing a team approach, COMPASS provides a Family Clinician and Family Specialist to work with the family and connect them to long-term community supports. Although our office is located in Dorchester, COMPASS serves families throughout eastern Massachusetts and we need staff members who are knowledgeable about the communities of the North Shore and/or South Shore.

COMPASS needs Family Clinicians with a Master’s degree and experience in Human/Social Services in order to improve family communication, resolve and reduce conflicts, and serve as an advocate for our families. COMPASS also needs Family Specialist with a Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma and experience to serve a mentors and parent aide. Priority will be given to bilingual candidates and those with knowledge and experience in the communities we serve. All of our staff must have good organizational and communication skills, as well as a reliable car. Staff members must be willing to work flexible hours (37.5 hours/week), with some weekend on-call responsibilities.
