The Donor Relations Coordinator manages a comprehensive and integrated donor relations program including but not limited to responding to donor inquiries, stewarding donors, acting as the liaison to all Monthly Sustainers, and entering and updating constituent data into The Raiser’s Edge. This position works to strengthen ongoing relationships with donors by ensuring the highest level of customer service so that donors are properly stewarded to strengthen their financial support for Oregon Food Bank. This position has a key role in donor engagement, recognition and stewardship for donors of all levels of giving.
A Bachelor’s degree plus 3 – 5 years working in a nonprofit organization, with particular focus on development is required. Additional education may be substituted for experience, and education qualifications may be waived depending on work history. Experience in the field of donor/constituent relations and donor stewardship, familiarity with fundraising best practices and IRS gift receipting guidelines, 1-2 years of experience with Raiser’s Edge or other donor database management system and experience with report and proposal preparation, including PowerPoint presentations required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays, work the July 4th weekend for Waterfront Blues Festival and work at the Oregon Harvest Dinner event.
