Crisis Clinicians

Join our fast-pace and exciting Emergency Services Team. Our team of decidated professional serve the Lynn area by providing the following services:
Conduct mobile, community based biopsychosocial evaluations on clients experiencing an acute psychiatric emergency with a strengths-based, solution-focused, client-centered, recovery-oriented approach.
Assess safety, determine services needed and make appropriate referrals, giving strong consideration to client preferences.
Provide short term, solution focused clinical intervention and treatment for clients and families as indicated for crisis management and resolution.
Develop or participate in the development of safety plans or crisis management plans
Arrange for hospital admission when clinically necessary and when less restrictive, community based treatment options are insufficient or have been exhausted.
Collaborate on post-discharge planning, and provide post-discharge clinical follow-up as appropriate.
Provide short-term case management services including coordination with other agencies and service providers.

Desired Skills & Experience

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work and 2 years of post-Master’s clinical experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
Meet third party reimbursement criteria for specific discipline and service population.
Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention and engagement strategies.
Must be able to quickly establish rapport with wide range of clinical presentations.
Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.
Understanding of public and private health insurance plans.
