Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for directly supervising junior high school participants
  • Implement daily programming while working with all other staff to organize and direct the flow of camp
  • Facilitate activity in sports, dance or stepping
  • Collaborating with Education Specialist and Program Director to ensure that program objectives are reached
  • Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records
  • Supervise field trips
  • Responsible for creating a positive, organized and engaging learning environment


  • High school diploma (college studies in education, social work, or similar field a plus)
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Strong conflict resolution, supervision, facilitation and communication skills
  • Previous experience leading youth in sports, dance, stepping or other activities
  • Must be able to pass NYS DOH Fingerprinting Screening; New York State Clearance Review Background Check; and receive medical clearance from physician

Days and Hours: Monday- Thursday 3:00 – 5:00 pm
